If you have a half-built house and a builder in administration, say so when you start the form and we will treat it as a takeover. Those jobs go to builders who have finished someone else's work before.
What happens after you send a brief
A person reads it. There is no automated routing and no call centre, which is the reason for the response time below rather than an instant one.
We check which of our verified builders actually service your suburb, what is mapped there — zone, overlays, hazards, heritage — and which builders have done that kind of work on that kind of block. Then you get one recommendation with the reasoning, or two with the pros and cons laid out if they are genuinely close.
If we have nobody verified in your area, we will say so. That is a real answer we give, and it is the reason this page does not promise a shortlist.
Your details go to the builder we match you with and to nobody else. We do not sell, auction or share enquiry data — that is not a policy we intend to revisit, and the privacy page says the same thing in the same words.
